This is an exciting opportunity for a Programme Manager Building Safety to join our Asset Management Building Safety team, to be part of the delivery of the Compliance Service. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that LFHA operates within legal and regulatory boundaries while achieving our business goals. Programme Manager Building Safety will ensure the safety and compliance of buildings, particularly in light of evolving safety regulations and standards.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Ensure the provision of customer oriented Building Safety services and other Asset Management activities which ensure compliance with all requirements including legislation and Approved Codes of Practice.
  • Is responsive to neighbourhood priorities and provides value for money, maintaining the Association's investment in its property portfolio
  • Engage and communicate effectively with enforcement bodies, management, colleagues, customers and regulators to provide full assurance on areas of responsibility. Ensure that our homes are safe and that customers feel safe living in them
  • Monitor the performance of contractors, ensuring agreed standards and prices are achieved

  • Experienced in a similar role within the social housing sector
